History
Humberto Alvarez Group is a company with more than 75 years of existence. The company was funded by Humberto Alvarez Saballos, on august 22 of 1930, in Costa Rica, being the third customs agency, at that moment.
Since its beginnings the company was oriented in providing a swift and efficient service that responds to the expectations and necessities of its import and export clients of that time.
With a little more than 75 years of experience, a honest and broad trajectory in the Centro American markets, the Group has stand out and accomplished its positioning as an important enterprise in the field, with annual revenues that exceed $60 millions (2004).
During all these years it has demonstrated itself as a serious, responsible and proactive business, gaining the admiration of institutions and organizations involved in the cargo logistics process.
It has implemented a project which has brought the Company, its processes, and its employees to a multiple system of Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Ethical certification, that specifically conforms to the UN ISO 9001:2000 Register RE-004/01/2001(INTECO/AENOR). With this asset and others such as an advanced informatics system and highly professional and qualified human resource is that the company has accomplished preference, for many years, in diverse sectors of Costarican and Nicaraguan economy.
